Produced by the Texas Gum Company in 1910 the E105 Mello Mint set is a favorite amongst caramel card collectors who enjoy a challenge. While some samples from this set show with some frequency others are exceptionally rare. To our knowledge no complete set has so far been put together. Johnny Evers never looked as good as he does here on this stunning E105 card! With a gorgeous tangerine background Evers stares into the distance with a large bat over his shoulder. Graded by PSA as a 3 this strong sample of a Hall of Famer is a clear example of when to “buy the card not the holder.” Beyond minor corner rounding and being slightly off printed this card shows no flaws and would be an awesome addition to any collection.
