Complete 1963 Post set from an original owner "Texas Find" collection. In the case of this set we have difficulty believing that the entire 200-card set was built in 1963 as that's just entirely too much cereal for one adolescent boy to eat. Charlie Young was a collector all his life and in the case of oddball and regional issues it's quite likely that he continued building them as an adult. In the case of this complete set the cards were nicely filed away in 9-pocket plastic sheets averaging in GOOD to VG condition with creasing corner wear and uneven cuts that are more indicative of a collection built by numerous people than by a hobbyist as meticulous as young Charlie was. Regardless a complete set from an issue that while certainly not scarce is not easy to build in its entirety. 200 cards total. NOTE: THIS LOT HAS BEEN WITHDRAWN FROM THE AUCTION. Thanks to a few eagle-eyed collectors we learned pretty quickly that this lot is actually made up of a combination of Jello and Post Cereal cards. We do not want to misrepresent anything in our auction and so it's important to us to get it right.
