Extraordinarily high-grade for the issue this card of Braves outfielder Andy Pafko has been graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. While overall wear has softened the corners slightly (particularly the top left) the card itself boasts an excellent eye appeal helping reinforce why this issue is considered by many collectors to be one of the most attractive of the decade. One of the sets that has driven the collector craze for early 1950s regional issues all cards from this set have a high level of collector demand. Pafko depicted on the card using his bat to ward off a flying pack of hot dogs was the owner of a 17-year career and a .285 lifetime batting average. Now 92 years old Pafko is one of the oldest living major leaguers.Population DataPSA Population: 55 total graded 9 at this level 10 higherSGC Population: 11 total graded 1 at this level 5 higher *All flying pack of hot dog jokes are made in honor of our good friend collector and hobby writer Chris Stufflestreet. Chris was a friend to many of us in the hobby and passed away tragically last year at a young age. Thanks to Chris we will never think of Wilson Franks cards the same way again.
