Christy Mathewson continues to be one of the most highly sought-after subjects in the vintage baseball hobby. One of the two or three most popular pitchers of his era his cards are still in high demand today with collectors paying significant premiums for anything bearing his likeness.Presented is a very attractive 1910 E93 of Mathewson graded FAIR 20 by SGC. And while the grade is fair it does not attract from the card"s extraordinary eye appeal the reasons for the grade being the upper-left corner crease and the large border chip at the bottom left. Certainly these flaws justify the grade and yet neither interferes with the eye appeal to any great degree.
