I have one to sell!
A very clean fresh to the hobby set of 1972 Topps baseball cards. The 1972 set the largest set Topps had ever produced to that point (and for years after) at 787 cards was issued in three series with the third series of 132 cards being particularly scarce. The set"s design - possibly the Topps set most reflective of the style of the era in which it was issued - is a post-psychedelic pre-disco melange of color and tacky typography and features some very difficult Hall of Famers and key cards. This set was likely assembled during the era. It is a particularly clean midgrade set that has clearly been handled but not excessively so. Certainly not a high-grade set (though there are likely cards inclusive that could be sent for grading with a positive result) the cards are mostly presentable assembled carefully with very few low-grade cards. Primary condition flaws herein are related to centering or touched corners with very few creases or other serious blemishes. This is an attractive set. An approximate condition breakdown is 1% NM 11% EX-MT 26% EX 35% VG/EX 21% VG 6% G or lesser. A breakdown of the key cards is as follows:#37 Yastrzemski VG/EX; #49 Mays VG/EX; #51 Killebrew VG; #79 Cooper/Fisk EX; #80 Perez VG/EX; #100 F. Robinson VG/EX; #130 Gibson VG/EX; #200 Brock EX/MT; #270 Palmer EX/MT; #280 McCovey G; #299 Aaron G; #309 Clemente VG/EX; #330 Hunter VG/EX; #410 Jenkins EX/MT; #420 Carlton VG/EX; #433 Bench VG/EX; #435 Jackson VG/EX; #441 Munson EX/MT; #445 Seaver VG/EX; #447 Stargell G; #510 Williams P; #550 B. Robinson G; #559 Rose EX/MT; #567 Marichal EX; #595 Ryan EX/MT; #600 Kaline VG/EX; #695 Carew EX; #751 Carlton Traded VG; #752 Morgan Traded G; #754 F. Robinson Traded EX.An extremely attractive set likely assembled during the period in which it was issued and an excellent opportunity for a collector to complete the enormous 1972 Topps set the easy way.
