"No Frills" 41" x 14" "warning" sign which hung in Detroit's Olympia Stadium advising patrons not to bring cans or bottles inside. The indoor arena was constructed in 1927 and served as home of the Detroit Red Wings until 1979. The sign was used during the period when the Red Wings played likely the mid 1970s and shows its age both in terms of its simplistic hand-stenciled design and its wear and staining. The sign's white background is discolored from age with some paint stains visible at the upper-left. Still an interesting conversation piece and memento from the Red Wings' 1970s seasons.
