Classic Tigers yearbook image featuring young double play combination Alan Trammell and Lou Whitaker just one year into a career they would spend alongside one another in Tiger uniforms. For nearly 20 seasons Trammell and Whitaker electrified fans perhaps the greatest double play combo of their era. The yearbook cover was signed by both players in black ink for an outstnading presentation. Despite some very minor smudging to the Whitaker signature the yearbook is in Excellent condition with some very minor wrinkles at the top of the cover. Please note that this item does not carry professional third-party authentication on the autograph however it is guaranteed to have been obtained directly by Dennis Clotworthy during his time with the team.
