Fascinating postcard containing a photographic image of comedic actor Harold Lloyd and Yankees slugger Babe Ruth. The two appeared in the Paramount silent film "Speedy" (1928) which featured Lloyd as a careless and dangerous taxi driver in New York City. A scene in the film has Lloyd picking up Babe Ruth who requests a ride to Yankee Stadium and then bounces around the back making a variety of terrified faces and gestures as Speedy careens through the streets of Manhattan. Ruth and Lloyd are wearing the exact clothing they're wearing in this postcard at the start of the scene but in an early continuity error Ruth is wearing a different tie when he exits the cab. You can see the scene here. The postcard itself has been graded VG 40 by SGC with an extremely crisp image with outstanding contrast.
