I have one to sell!
Postally used this illustrated postcard was intended to communicate the game scores from the Pirates/Tigers World Series of 1909. The card features an illustration of a clearly victorious pirate with the headline "This is what we did to 'em." The scoreboard underneath which lists Detroit as the home team is left blank - the postcard was perhaps created for Pirates fans traveling to Detroit to let friends back home know what happened in the game. This example graded POOR 10 by SGC incorrectly lists the score and date as October 11 with an 8-0 Pirates victory (the Pirates won that day 8-6). Still despite the technical grade the postcard is bright and clean (save for the writing which we overlook).
