I have one to sell!
Two months after securing the consignment of our 1920 Tris Speaker World Series bat we met with one of our most interesting consignors; a gentleman with a fantastic collection of fascinating memorabilia and ephemera. In the middle of a pile of paper memorabilia was this hardcover "1920 World Series Scrap Book" produced in 1953 by the Tru-Fit Screw Products Corporation of Cleveland. The book features newspaper accounts many from the Cleveland Plain-Dealer describing each game. Boxscores individual player features and a written account of the postgame frenzy after Game 7 that supports the narrative of our Tris Speaker Game-Used Bat (Lot #2) are all included herein. Outstanding condition lightly worn and toned with handwritten notations on the inside page bestowing ownership to one P.B. Norten complimennts of Mark W. Gardner.
