Lot Description  

Crisp and colorful 19th Century playing card of Beaneaters outfielder Joe Hornung from this puzzling but very attractive set. Featuring a colorful lithograph of the player on the front the card has been graded EX 60 by SGC likely failing to attain a higher grade due to some moderate discoloration on the reverse. A lovely card from an intriguing and less common 19th Century issue.
