One of the most rare of all player-endorsed baseball games Red Barber's Big League Baseball Game is highly desirable among New York sports fans and game collectors in general. In addition to the obvious Barber endorsement the game carries images and endorsements from New York sports heroes Burt Shotton Tommy Henrich Pee Wee Reese Casey Stengel Preacher Roe and Carl Erskine. Clearly well-worn the 20 1/2" x 13" box displays very well despite being heavily creased at all four flaps in some cases the creases creating tears and paper loss (some of which has been repaired with clear tape. The box bottom is similarly worn the flaps repaired in spots with clear tape the red baper creased in places and flaking in others. The game includes the game board (EX condition) official unwritten score sheet eight blue pegs and ten red pegs three dice (two of which are not original to the game) order form and envelope and a few small line score sheets (one of which has been written on in pencil). Outstanding example of a rare and desirable baseball game.
