Since the discovery of a small find of nine 1907 Tigers silks several years ago individual examples have made their way into the hobby periodically via public auction. Likely one of the examples from that original find this souvenir silk features the members of the AL Championship team including Hall of Famers Hugh Jennings Ty Cobb and Sam Crawford. While silks of this nature were common in political circles sports-related silks are far less common making this an interesting and very appealing piece. This example boasts a very clean surface with some mild fraying at the top and bottom edges consistent with this type of silk ribbon.
