Regarded as the first sports agent Christy Walsh was a tireless promoter who represented Babe Ruth created a ghostwriting syndicate to author player “autobiographies ” created the “Bustin’ Babe and Larrupin’ Lou” barnstorming teams and produced an annual wall calendar featuring a variety of sports heroes within the pages. This lot contains a legal release form authorizing Walsh to use the player’s name and likeness for the calendar. Printed by Brown & Bigelow (who still produce wall calendars today) the calendars can still be found in the hobby today. This collection the majority of which has been authenticated by James Spence Authentication feature some of the greatest names the game has known.
