Due to their method of distribution (labels affixed to the ends of bread bags) the 1952 Tip Top Bread issue is extremely difficult to find and unbelievably condition sensitive. Rather than hope for examples with high numerical grades one simply hopes for an example where the entire card is intact as they are typically found torn or still attached to the plastic bread bag in places. This example featuring Braves slugger Sid Gordon has been graded FAIR 20 by SGC but is entirely intact the front color still bold with minor edge chipping. Finding an example without wrinkling is virtually impossible and this example is certainly wrinkled. Back damage is expected as is the case with this one with paper remnants and pulls throughout. Still an incredibly scarce card from a highly sought-after issue.
