I have one to sell!
One of the more interesting tobacco issues the T207 "Brown Background" set is one with a devoted following of collectors attracted to the set's obscure players and its many rarities. The set is known for its condition-sensitivity; its back scarcities and its three rare cards: Louis Lowdermilk Irving Lewis and Ward Miller. Unlike the more popular T205 and T206 sets which like the T207s feature several popular tobacco brands on the reverse the T207 set was actually comprised of two different groups of cards. Of the set's 200 subjects 150 are available with either Recruit or Napoleon backs while the other (and far more scarce) 50 are available with either Cycle or Broadleaf backs. Within those groupings there appear to have been differences in distribution as some cards are definitely more scarce than others. The Ward Miller is widely considered to be one of the set's "Big Three" in terms of scarcity. To add to the card's obvious scarcity this example has been graded NM 7 by PSA. High-grade T207s are extremely difficult to find; the cards' gloss coating is susceptible to chipping and wrinkling even in sharp examples. Of only 18 Ward Millers to have been graded by PSA this is the only example to reach the NM plateau and just one has graded higher. SGC has graded 14 Millers none grading higher than EX. The T207 Ward Miller is a very scarce card and just one example has graded higher than this one. A true hobby rarity - a card that is legitimately scarce made even more so by its outstanding condition.
