Attractive high-grade example from this popular prewar set. M116s were distributed in envelopes containing 12-card series. The Carrigan features the Type 2 back which is clean with no paper loss. The M116 Sporting Life set while plentiful is not as widely-collected as many other issues from the era. As such the graded population of cards is typically very low as is the case with Bill Carrigan. Currently just 21 graded copies are in existence between PSA and SGC holders. This is one of the higher-graded examples available.Population Data:PSA Population: 16 graded copies 4 at this level 3 higherSGC Population: 7 graded copies none at this level 1 higher
