Full 1936 Wheaties panel measuring approximately 6" x 8" hand-cut on all four borders. The panel depicts a blue-tint image of Gehrig with his endorsement and facscimile signature set against the now-familiar orange background associated with the breakfast cereal. Gehrig was the first athlete to appear on a Wheaties package two years prior in 1934. Later that year Jimmy Foxx was added followed by aviator Elinor Smith and tennis player Ellsworth Vines beginning a tradition that would continue on until the present day. This panel remains in GOOD condition cut somewhat haphazardly along the right border with a jagged lower-right edge. Toning is apparent throughout as is some minor creasing along the top of the image and the upper-left corner. The reverse contains some paper remnants from a long-ago scrapbook along with what appears to be glue staining of some sort. Still a strong example of the key card from what is today known as the 1936 Series 4 Wheaties issue.
