I have one to sell!
Occasionally it takes an electron microscope to detect the faint markings responsible for a card receiving a MK qualifier. That is clearly the case with this T3 Hoblitzell a wonderful card that will be an outstanding addition to the collection of a lucky hobbyist who does not mind the four very light erased "X" marks placed near the names of four players on the card"s checklist reverse. The reverse does exhibit surface wear that makes the "X" marks difficult to detect at first however once you see them they"re plain as day.The rest of the card is fitting of the grade EX 5 with four square corners marred only slightly by minor wear and a clean bold image of the Reds first baseman ripping a base hit and finishing his swing. Hoblitzell who hit 11 home runs in 1911 for the Reds (that honor went to Cubs outfielder Frank Schulte who walloped 21 - 11 more than he ever hit in his career up until that point and nobody accused him of steroid abuse) was a popular player in his day who in his retirement years helped unemployed people during the Depression by putting them to work on his family farm.A lovely card in otherwise excellent condition save for the small "X" marks on the reverse.Population DataPSA Population: 21 total graded 1 at this level 10 higherSGC Population: 6 total graded 2 at this level 2 higher
