I have one to sell!
There is not a hotter card in the hobby than the 1952 Mantle. The heat has been explosive for well over a year as the card continues to set price records with each successive sale. Back in February of 2014 Love of the Game was the first auction house to sell a GOOD graded Mantle for more than $10 000. Nearly two years later that price is virtually guaranteed with GOOD-graded examples eclipsing the $12 000 mark on a regular basis and occasionally sniffing the $15 000 price point. This past August after telling our consignor we were unsure if his PSA 5 Mantle would reach the $25 000 price tier we became the second auction house to eclipse the $30 000 mark in that grade. A month later another sold for $38 000 and last month two examples exceeded $57 000. We have not seen a card this hot in ages. Presented is an attractive colorful example graded GOOD 30 by SGC. The card is accurately graded with several creases traversing the card along with corner and edge wear consistent with the grade. The image quality however is strong and the creases do not significantly impact the eye appeal of the card. Easily the most important baseball card of the postwar era and in the eyes of many the most important baseball card of all time the 1952 Topps #311 Mantle is one of the few cards that truly deserves to be described with the term "iconic." The key card in a landmark set the first Topps card of one of the most popular players ever to set foot on a diamond the card is on virtually every want list. A truly incredible card seemingly growing in value each and every day.
