Beautiful photo of Chief Bender from his coaching days signed in blue fountain pen and dated 1953. Taken from a 1953 Athletics team-issued photo set (during which time the Hall of Famer was a scout for the team). The photo itself dispays some wear at the top along with a very slight tear but the image itself and signature are very clear and bold.
