One of the most scarce of all the T206 backs is the black Lenox back. Among the "elite" back varieties that include Broadleaf Drum Uzit Red Hindu and Carolina Brights (among the impossible Ty Cobb Brown Old Mill and Brown Lenox) Lenox backs are incredibly desirable among advanced collectors. Even as the demand for tough T206 backs waxes and wanes the chase for Lenox backs remains competitive with collectors paying high premiums particularly for examples with clean reverses. Such is the case with this a well-centered example of the Howie Camnitz "Hands Over Head" card. The card has been graded GOOD 2 by PSA and in this case it is the wear on the front of the card that is less significant - several creases that break the surface of the front coupled with a few specks of paper loss on the card obverse are inconsequential. The reverse what's truly important about the card is clean and unblemished save for the crease at the upper-left corner that does not break into the Lenox ad. Some minor soiling does not interfere either. Population DataPSA Population: 3 total graded 2 at this level 1 higherSGC Population: 1 total graded 0 at this level 1 higher
