I have one to sell!
Our incredible hobby has been around long enough that it has generated its own memorabilia; classic hobby publications like The Trader Speaks published by Dan Dischley of New York have become extremely desirable in their own right. The publication lasted for 179 issues between 1969 and 1983 and contained a combination of well-researched informative articles from many hobby pioneers and incredibly interesting dealer ads from which a tremendous amount of hobby information can be gleaned. These 35 issues date between 1974 and 1982 and represent hundreds of pages of knowledge photos letters and tidbits that represent tremendously valuable information to today's hobbyist. Suffice to say that our hobby is old enough that much research is not available on the Internet and issues of The Trader Speaks can yield a treasure trove of information. A quick flip through the issues reveals one of our favorites the April 1977 edition with a T206 Eddie Collins "Holding Bat" proof described inside by noted collector (and owner of the card at the time) Barry Halper. The publications are for the most part in EX condition with various degrees of wear related to having been pored over by collectors. A few examples are far more worn with some tearing pages and one issue missing its back cover (which remains with the collection despite being detached). An irreplacable source of hobby knowledge and research.
