Groundbreaking issue advertising Bond Homogenized Bread and featuring a player endorsement from Jackie Robinson the majors' first African-American ballplayer who broke in as a rookie with the Dodgers that very season. The issue contained 13 different cards each measuring 2 1/4" x 3 1/2" and containing a black and white image of Robinson. The cards are highly desirable today.
