Due to the familiar back design the rarity of the Piedmont Factory 42 reverse is often misunderstood by collectors. According to T206Resource.com the Factory 42 is ranked #10 in terms of overall back scarcity just behind Carolina Brights and ahead of AB 460 Brown Hindu and many other reverses often pursued by collectors with competitive vigor. This example of Pittsburgh favorite Tommy Leach is quite attractive; the GOOD+ 35 grade assigned by SGC attributable to a light crease down the front of the card along with some corner wear. The color and image registration is strong however making this a very appealing example of a difficult back.
