Holding an auction with not one but two Holmes to Homes cards is somewhat of an embarrassment of riches particularly for type collectors who pursue these cards with vigor due to their scarcity. This example of J. Erskine Mayer has been graded A by SGC it appears due to a slight trim. The card is clearly in POOR condition otherwise with significant creasing and wear however the reverse is still very legible and clear the most critical element of a card like this.
