Cannonball Morris won more than 30 games in each of his past three seasons topping out with a 41-20 record in 1886 with the Pittsburgh Alleghenys. That season his astonishing 555.1 innings pitched wasn't even the most he'd throw in a single season (he pitched in 581 the prior year). By 1889 arm trouble sidelined his career and he was out of the majors by 1890.
