According to T206Resource.com the Cycle 460 back variety ranks #15 in overall scarcity just behind Sovereign 460 American Beauty 350 (No Frame) and Brown Hindu. Moreover in T206 scholar Scot Reader"s May 2012 revisitation of back multipliers his research indicates that the Cycle 460 back is experiencing considerable growth in popularity with the market paying a multiplier of 13 for Cycle 460-backed T206 cards.Presented here is a Cycle 460 example of Hall of Famer Hugh Duffy"s T206 card. The card presents as a VG card save for a shock of harsh border wear at the top right resulting in chipping and a significant chunk of paper loss. Aside from that the corners exhibit modest wear and the remainder of the card is clean. It is difficult to clearly understand how tough a Cycle 460 Duffy card is to obtain. SGC has graded five Duffy T206s with Cycle backs (out of 258 total Duffy T206s they"ve graded) and according to T206Resource.com a Cycle 350 back is not possible with the Duffy card. This would indicate that all the SGC-graded T206 Duffy cards feature Cycle 460 backs. PSA on the other hand has graded no Duffy cards with Cycle backs at this time - however PSA only recently began categorizing T206 cards by their back variety and it is entirely possible that one or more of the 190 T206 Duffy cards PSA has graded and classified as "Unknown Back" possess a Cycle 460 back.Regardless this is a difficult card to obtain an outstanding rarity of a key Hall of Famer from the deadball era"s most widely-collected issue.Population DataSGC Population: 5 total graded 1 at this level 4 higherPSA Population: none graded
