Few players have captivated the hobby in the way that Roberto Clemente have; his incredible skill his leadership and his tragic death have all contributed greatly to his legend. The list of Clemente collectors is long and at this writing PSA has included 238 different Clemente cards in the master player set. One of them is this exceedingly difficult 1965 Pirates picture pack card. Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA it is one of just two examples extant at that level with none higher. With the other example locked up in a high-grade registry set the likelihood of acquiring a high-grade example of this card has always been slim until today. This is the second known PSA 8 example one of only 18 graded with the next highest available grades at the EX-MT+ level. A wonderful high-grade example until now unavailable to the hobby.
