Diverse and attractive group of 1910-11 T42 Birds cards from both the first and second series along with a small group of Lowney"s Cocoa Birds.Included in the collection are 20 cards from the T42 White Border series. Three back varieties are represented in this group including two Piedmont eight Sweet Caporal and ten Old Mill. Also included are 15 cards from the T42 Gold Border series. Again three back varieties are represented with one Piedmont three Sweet Caporal and eleven Old Mill. Virtually all the cards exhibit border trimming and varying degrees of wear. But they all have lovely plumage.Also included are four colorful cards from the E226 Lowney"s Chocolets Bird series. Each of these colorful cards depicts a different bird surrounded by a gold border with an illustration of that bird"s egg inset into the border. While these cards are not trimmed two of them exhibit writing in the egg on the card face.An interesting selection of 39 colorful birds from the Rudy Strejc Collection.
