Scarce 1906 postcard issue featuring members of the World Champion New Your Giants. "Cap" McGann was nearing the end of his 12-year career in the Majors by 1906 an outstanding defensive first baseman and hard-nosed ballplayer. McGann took his own life in 1910 at just 39 years old the third McGann sibling to do so. The card itself despite the FAIR 20 grade assigned by SGC presents extremely well the image marred primarily by corner and edge wear some chipping and moderate surface wear. The technical grade is the result of some writing on the reverse which has been erased. The overall presentation is very strong an outstanding example for the grade.
