Distributed in West Coast states in 1911 the T217 Mono Cigarettes issue contained PCL baseball players as well as actresses. Among the most rare of all the tobacco issues the 23 baesball players (25 cards total due to two players being featured in two poses) feature none of the bigger-name players in the PCL but command a large premium nonetheless due simply to scarcity. This example has been graded PR 1 with the MK designation to reflect the year 1911 written in pencil in the upper-left corner. With issues like the T217 Mono cards condition is secondary to the rarity of the issue.
