Lot Description  

A part-time catcher with the World's Champion St. Louis Browns Rudy Kemmler was nearing the end of an 8-year big league career when photographed for his N172 Old Judge cards. One of just two known N172 poses of Kemmler this example is part of the desirable "Brown's Champions" subset graded VG 40 by SGC due to wear typical for the issue and slight image fading.
