The 1959 Topps issue is considered by collectors to be one of the most attractive of the 1950s designs; one of those sets that effectively reflects the graphic design sensibilities of the time it was published. Featuring a host of Hall of Famers stars special subsets and tough variations along with a difficult run of high numbers the 1959 set has long been popular among collectors driving up prices of high-grade sets and individual cards. Presented here is an attractive midgrade set completed by a dedicated collector with a key eye for aesthetic appeal and strong presentation within the grade. A breakdown of the set's technical grade might result in 1% EX-MT or better 17% EX 38% VG-EX; 40% VG with the remainder lesser but that does not tell the true story: this set is particularly attractive each card bright and pleasing to the eye technical grades simply the result of softer corners and centering issues in most cases.
