Collection of four Opening Game tickets and stubs from different expansion teams in the modern era. Tickets include: 1) Montreal Expos Home Opener 1969 Ticket Stub: Stub from Jarry Park's home opener April 14 1969 against the St. Louis Cardinals. Montreal won the game 8-7 a 7th inning single by pitcher Dan McGinn driving home third baseman Coco Laboy with the eventual winning run. The stub presents extremely well a brilliant yellow color and bright glossy finish marred by a bit of corner wear and an unobtrusive staple hole in one corner. 2) Seattle Mariners Home Opener 1977 Full Ticket: Full ticket from Seattle's opening game at the Kingdome a 7-0 loss to the California Angels on April 6 1977. Ticket is in EX-MT or even better condition extremely well-preserved with exceptional gloss and sharp corners. 3) Florida Marlins Home Opener 1993 Full Ticket: Full ticket from Florida's opening game against the Dodgers April 5 1993. The game was won 6-3 by the Marlins behind the pitching of Charlie Hough (a program from this game is featured in another lot in the auction). In EX-MT condition accompanied by an LOA signed by team manager Rene Lachman. 4) Philadelphia Phillies Home Opener 2005 Full Ticket (Washington Nationals First Game): Attractive full ticket from the Phillies' 2005 Home Opener at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia the inaugural game of the Washington Nationals (the Phils won 8-4). In EX-MT condiiton with only slight corner wear and excellent display qualities.
