Higher-end card from the Rudy Strejc Collection which was purchased later in Mr. Strejc"s life when he was in his late 40s. While the majority of the cards in the collection date to the early 1900s and 1910s Mr. Strejc purchased some cards as an adult likely during his travels around the country as a union steamfitter and pipefitter. Among those were a handful of 1948-49 Leaf baseball cards including this Wagner. A gorgeous card featuring Wagner also later in life this exhibits strong color and centering with solid EX/MT corners.
