Sometimes you look at a card and just shake your head. Such is the case with Rudy Strejc"s T226 Jim Jeffries from the Red Sun Pugilistic Subjects set of 50 cards. An exceptionally rare card and a key to this very difficult set this Jeffries (graded AUTHENTIC) by SGC) has been well-worn to the point where not only are the edges significantly trimmed but one cannot discern Jeffries" name. It is however Jeffries and thus becomes an affordable example of a very difficult card. We have coupled it here with a second T226 of Young Nitchie as well as a 1910 T225 card of Abe Attell. The Nitchie despite being graded AUTHENTIC by SGC still presents very well with trimming at the borders but no creasing. The Attell also graded AUTHENTIC has also seen better days having been trimmed at the borders and featuring a spindle hole in the lower-left corner.Three exceptional cards from difficult boxing sets all in collector grades. From the Rudy Strejc Collection.
