Another example of an extraordinarily scarce issue originating from the PCL the E100 set was issued in 1911 by the Bishop & Co candy company of Los Angeles and features 30 players from the Pacific Coast League (highlighted by Buck Weaver). The cards feature backgrounds of blue yellow purple red or green and have two subsets - one with the checklist printed on the reverse and one without.While Kid Mohler played just three games with the 1894 Washington Senators he made his mark in the Pacific Coast League where he still holds the career minor league record for games played at second base. After his career ended Mohler became head baseball coach at the US Naval Academy from 1929-32. In 2012 he was elected to the Pacific Coast League Hall of Fame. The card from the extraordinarily scarce E100 issue has been graded GOOD 30 by SGC largely due to creasing across the surface as well as corner wear.
