The E103 Williams Caramel issue is among our favorites and we have handled quite a few since opening Love of the Game a few years ago. The overwhelming majority of those examples have been low-grade. Suffice to say we were extremely pleased at the quality of the E103s featured in this auction all of which originate from the same consignor who clearly had extreme patience in acquiring attractive middle-grade examples from this condition-sensitive issue. This example of Giants infielder Larry Doyle has been graded VG-EX 4 by PSA is an extremely appealing one slightly off-center from left to right but still bold and clear.
