The E105 Mello-Mint issue is a condition-sensitive one many surviving examples having been folded straight down the middle of the card. One theory is that the cards themselves were too wide for the gum packages and thus needed to be folded just to be distributed. Regardless finding uncreased examples today is not as easy as one would think. This example of Pirates catcher George Gibson has achieved the lofty grade of VG-EX 4 from PSA mildly rounded corners being the chief flaw. Wide borders excellent centering and vibrant color make this a wonderful midgrade example from the set. No examples of this card have graded higher.
