Nearly perfect rookie card of Hall of Fame defensive back Emlen Tunnell who played for the Giants and Packers between 1948 and 1961. Tunnell began his career hitchhiking from Iowa to New York to meat Jack Mara and ask for a Giants tryout. What followed was a 14-year career including nine invites to the Pro Bowl. Tunnell who was injured so badly in college with a broken neck that he was unable to enlist in the military played 143 consecutive games at the time of his returement the recordholder with 79 career interceptions. A truly gorgeous and well-centered card rich with color graded NM-MT 8 by PSA who has graded just one example higher.
