Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1968 Charlie Trippi was both a running back and a quarterback and is the only person in the Hall of Fame with more than 1 000 yards receiving rushing and passing. The three time All-Pro Trippi aso played one season of minor league baseball in the Southern Association hitting .334 in 106 games.
