Very appealing oversized (or "jumbo " as they are sometimes called) T206 of Boston Hall of Famer Tris Speaker. Graded VG+ 45 by SGC due largely to some minor surface edge and corner wear it is difficult to ignore the extremely large top border of this card. "Oversized" simply doesn't properly describe this card the bright blue background of which seems nestled inside a white border that measures properly (1 7/16") from left to right but is nearly an eighth of an inch oversized from top to bottom measuring just shy of 2 3/4". Oversized prewar cards are very appealing to collectors because they offer an added degree of assurance that no deceptive alterations have been performed on the card. Such is the case with this example not your ordinary T206 Speaker.
