The anonymous Factory 25 reverse adds a distinct level of scarcity to this card of Chicago pitcher Frank Lange. Lange nicknamed "Bill " posted a 10-10 record with the 1912 White Sox his best season in a 4-year major league career. This card graded GOOD+ 35 by SGC boasts strong eye appeal but a significant crease at the lower-right corner reduces the card's technical grade as does some significant soiling on the reverse. Still this is one of the cards rescued by our consignor 50 years ago from a dumpster and stored away for safekeeping - a card with this level of scarcity in any condition is a fascinating find but given this card's backstory it is all the more interesting.
