Gorgeous turn-of-the-century cabinet-style photo depicting an unidentified team posing outdoors in front of some lush foliage and gardens. Various equipment adorns the photo including fielders gloves (hooked to the players' belts in many cases) bats baseballs and catchers' gear. A young mascot sits in front of the 11-member team a suited manager or owner in his bowler hat stands in the back row. The photo quality is excellent save for a slight tear at the bottom of the image. The mount has taken some abuse missing a left corner with a large tear and some stains the name "R.M. Lakin" written in ink on the reverse. A beautiful image documenting a vintage baseball team likely an amateur town or factory team from the early 1900s.
