The operative term in the phrase "Mecca Double-Folder" is of course "FOLD." Meaning of course that the cards were meant to be folded at the top so that the top of the card on the reverse would join the bottom of the card on the front giving young collectors two cards in one. The result of course is all sorts of irregular folds creases wrinkles chips and edge wear from folding and re-folding the cards. This example depicting Buck Herzog and Roy Miller of Boston has been graded NM/MT+ 92 by SGC one of the highest-grade T201s that you will ever find. Crisp edges very little corner wear and no pronounced creasing make this an absolutely stellar card bringing out the true beauty of what we feel is the most underrated prewar issue. Along with one PSA 8.5 this is the highest-graded example of this card known.
