Lovely example of N172 card #52-2 of Bill Burdick with outstanding clarity and image contrast. Noted as a catcher on his card Burdick was actually a pitcher during his two seasons with Indianapolis posting a 12-14 record with a 3.17 earned run average. A particularly attractive card the card has received the grade of FAIR 20 by SGC due to the owners stamp and handwriting on the reverse characteristics that for many increase the card's desirability.
