Exceptional collector-grade example of one of our favorite prewar cards: the T205 card of Hall of Famer Christy Mathewson. Graded VG 40 by SGC the card does have a slight crease in the bottom-right which traverses diagonally across the card from the bottom upward. This does not interfere with the image however which is strong and bold with excellent detail. A very pleasing example of a popular card from this colorful set.
