Card 437-4 of Bill Stemmeyer depicts him posing as if to deliver a pitch something he was quite good at. Stemmeyer's 22-18 record in 1886 was impressive as were his 239 strikeouts and 3.02 ERA. Though his major league career was brief (as was his minor league career) he did garner six different cards in the N172 issue. This one graded GOOD 30 by SGC exhibits a variety of condition flaws on both the obverse and reverse despite boasting a relatively clear image for the issue.
