Another well-centered high-grade 1952 Bowman Large card this one of Steelers running back Claude Hipps. Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA we often wonder the impact that rough cuts have on grading. Conventional wisdom says that the rough cut is a factory issue that is a hallmark of a naturally-cut card and grading companies claim to overlook rough-cut edges. However in the case of a card like this a severely rough cut left edge results in soft corners that we feel may have detracted slightly from the grade. Otherwise this is a pack-fresh card to use a term we don't like because it's overused but surely applies in this instance. A low population card for the issue.
